WWHS Renaming Committee

Dear Woodrow Wilson Family,

Thank you for your participation in the renaming of WWHS. Since forming the committee early this month, we have made much progress. To date, over 130 members worked together to nominate over 30 names for the committee to consider.

In a previous communication, we shared a tentative date for the next d subcommittee meeting and indicated a possibility for another full committee meeting. These meetings and the full renaming process will be postponed until further notice to allow us to (1)  focus on a successful reopening of our schools for the 2020-21 school year and (2) incorporate additional feedback from students, committee members and the Camden community at-large to ensure that the new name of Woodrow Wilson High School was and will be arrived in the most inclusive manner.

Again, it has been an honor to work alongside all of you in this process. I look forward to reconvening at a later date to complete this project that will be significant to the Camden City School District and specifically the students of Woodrow Wilson High School for years to come.

Sincerely,

Katrina T. McCombs, M.A.Ed., MPA
