Continued Learning

Continued Remote Learning

Dear Camden City School District Families,

Like all New Jersey school districts, we have been closely monitoring the news regarding the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). In compliance with Governor Murphy’s current executive orders (Order #104 and #107), signed in March 2020, all “public, private, and parochial preschool program premises, and elementary and secondary schools, including charter and renaissance schools, shall remain closed to students as long as this Order remains in effect.”

Although our school buildings are closed and how we educate our scholars will look different, it doesn’t change our district’s mission of Putting Students First. We are committed to ensuring our students have access to remote learning and the resources they need to be successful.

Academic Activities for April 1st through April 9th can be found in the links below.  All resources are digital and can be accessed from laptops, tablets, and smartphones.  Teachers will also be sharing these plans through Class Dojo and Google Classroom.  If you are in need of printed material, please contact your student’s teacher. Please know, the district is working diligently to close the digital divide for our students and will be providing information on laptop distribution in the coming weeks.   Many Internet Service Providers are offering promotions for free wifi access.

In addition to the remote academic plans, we have created a daily schedule to help you plan your child’s day in a way that is more convenient and productive for everyone.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your student’s teacher.
